Light Up The Stars

August 1, 2011

Hello,

Seems like this blazing summer is cruising by at a blistering pace.  Lots of stuff going on in our world these days.

First, we have a badass show coming up with some of our favorite bands from all over the country along with one of our musical idols' (Ed Crawford of fIREHOSE fame) new band FOOD at The Southgate House on Saturday August 6.  Our buds Knife The Symphony, Traindodge (Oklahoma City, OK), and Disguised As Birds (Milwaukee, WI) will be joining us for this epic throwdown.  Make sure you come out early, since every band on the bill is an amazing live act.  You will not be disappointed.

After this show, we will be doing some shows throughout the southeast (KY, GA, TN) in mid-August.  We're playing with some amazing bands on that trip as well like Karass, Hello Cobra, Swingset, and Royal Bangs.  If you live in Louisville, Atlanta, or Chattanooga you should come out and say hello.  The next round of dates will be in September with our pals Daikaiju (outer space via Japalama), when we head west for a bit.  All confirmed dates will be posted very soon for that tour.

We also uploaded a ridiculous amount of show posters in the gallery section of the site, and on our facebook page.  We just realized we had a bunch laying around dating all the way back to 2000.  Damn, we really feel old now...

We hope to see you at a show.  Stay cool in this ridiculous heat.

Cheers,

K + M + R

Hello!

Lots of new tour dates in the works.  Including another show with one of our idols Ed Crawford (fIREHOSE, Grand National, etc...) on 8/6.  We had the honor of sharing the stage with Ed about two years ago, and there should be no doubts regarding his abilities.  Don't miss this show.

Next up will be a series of shows in August throughout the Southeast.  We will have playing a lot of new songs, that we hope to record this winter.  Later in the fall we will be doing another tour with our pals in Daikaiju.  Stay tuned for me details about that…

Cheers,

K + M + R

We're sending out good vibes to our friend Elliott Turton, and you should too.

We hear he is in critical but stable condition in the ICU after a horrible scare last night onstage in Austin, TX while on tour with Waxeater.

Please get well soon dude!
