New beginnings

This Friday we will be playing at The Southgate House in Newport, KY. It will most likely be the last time we will have the pleasure of playing on that magnificent stage in the ballroom.
The Southgate House has meant quite a lot to all of us. It was a place where we all worked in one capacity or another (sound engineer, carpenter, manager) over the years. It was a place where we played some of the most exciting shows we ever played together (Hot Water Music, Mission Of Burma, Ed Crawford, etc...). It was a place that we were proud to say was our hometown jewel as we traveled together playing music all over this country, and beyond.
If you come to the show Friday please remember the situation surrounding the real estate we know as The Southgate House isn't so much a sad ending, but a new beginning. There are a lot of good people who have, and continue to work very hard to provide such a cool outlet for original, independent music/art at The Southgate House. So let's raise a glass and toast all the good times we've had there, thank Ross & Morrella for persevering after all this time, and get ready for all the good times to come.

So,
This Saturday our good friends THE STRONGEST PROOF are hosting a big record release show at The Southgate House.
It will feature a bunch of really cool bands, and your paid admission gets you a free copy of their new album. It will also be their last performance.
This isn't going to be a sad affair lamenting the end of the band, as much as it will be a celebration of their time together (think an Irish wake). So please come out and help us give them a proper send off!

Well,
We made it home safe and sound. Thank you everyone who came out to any of our shows, bought a CD or a shirt, gave us a place to crash, and helped us through our travels. The tour was a blast, and we can't wait to get back out to many of those cities again.
A big thank you to Chris & the guys from SCOUTS, Grover & everyone at Surfside 7, Karl & Bill, Mouth House crew, Jim & everyone at 3 Kings, Jenny & everyone at Kirby's, Sam & everyone at Crystal Pistol, Joe and everyone at the Smoke & Barrel tavern, The Angel Sluts, everyone at Murphy's, Tim at Terrapin Station, everyone at JJ's Bohemia, and Feesh and all at Shewit.
Most importantly, a HUGE thank you to our brothers in DAIKAIJU. Another amazing tour, and we can't wait to do it again.
